Great Videos Highlight Local EECBG Successes
October 7, 2010
Recently came across these videos that the Michigan Municipal League created with the help of several EECBG non-entitlement communities in Michigan. They interview real local energy leaders talking about how they acquired EECBG funding from the state and used it to make a difference in their communities. Great idea!
Videos are available on the MML’s YouTube channel. Check out the videos for the City of Holland, City of Charlevoix, City of Greenville, Charlevoix County, Emmet County and Muskegon County.

Encourage Your Local Elected Leaders to Sign the EECBG Letter to President Obama
October 6, 2010
As part of the Energy Block Grants Work! campaign, we plan to gather support from more than 500 local elected leaders on a letter to President Obama urging him to include full funding for the EECBG program in his FY 2012 budget request to Congress. Have local elected leaders from your community signed onto the letter yet? We’re looking for support from mayors, county executives, councilmembers, aldermen, etc.
